Meaningful Abstraction

with Rebecca Crowell

Rebecca Crowell and Jerry McLaughlin team up in San Miguel de Allende for this intensive 5-day workshop exploring visual vocabulary, personal voice, and abstraction.

A major challenge for an abstract painter is finding a unique visual voice, one that is personal and meaningful. In this workshop, through focused exercises and the development of a short series, you will explore the visual vocabulary that you are most drawn to. We will emphasize the importance of contrast in both the visual elements and the ideas of your work.
